In the last post I spoke about Skyaking which is the name given to Kayak Skydiving.  Since first being introduced to this sport last week, I've been searching the web for all I could find. 

This really fascinates me, as gliding in the air in a playboat style whitewater kayak seems like it really adds a new dimension to sky diving.  It's almost as if the boat becomes a tiny airplane that catches air underneath it and allows for tricks and manuevers at the behest of the pilot.

Watch this interview and skyaking video with Miles Daisher, the Skyaker who introduced kayak sky diving into popular news outlets.

Have you ever heard of Skyaking?  How about Kayak Skydiving?  So, I was watching the news the other day and out of nowhere there's this guy in a kayak.  But he wasn't in the water, or anywhere near it for that matter.  He was hurling down toward the earth through the air.  That's right.  He was skydiving in a kayak. 

This is truly the coolest thing I've ever seen in a kayak.  Take a look and let me know what you think.
